Greetings Hackney! The new edition of our guide is being distributed on Monday 12th May 2017.
We hope you’ll go and grab yourself a copy. Amongst other venues across the borough, you’ll find the guide at:
Hackney Community College, Britannia Leisure Centre, Shoreditch Library, Shoreditch Town Hall, Hoxton Hall, Hackney Museum, Bootstrap, Hackney Archives, London Fields Medical Centre, Haggerston Community Centre, Geffyre Museum, Sutton House, Core Arts, Chats Palace, Kingshall Leisure Centre, Homerton Hospital, Springfield Park Café, Clapton Library, Abney Park, Somine, Stokey Town Hall, West Reservoir Centre, Hackney Co-operative Developments, Space on Mare Street, Hub 67 & Castle Climbing.
Thanks to North London Action for the Homeless who hosted a great launch party at the Evering Road Kitchen Garden. Check out this film of the event, featuring cakes, rain, a speech from the Speaker, a saucy song from the vicar, songs from Art Terry with JT Taylor and Rosanna Ter-Berg (including a request to vote for Jeremy Corbyn – looks like it worked Art) and experimental dance from Dalston Ballet.
Thanks too to Matthew Smith for his wonderful design, Lucie Galand for her gorgeous maps and Ann-Marie Shaw for editing. The brilliant Sally Schafer has been the best possible co-director and digital content and comms wizard.
Enjoy the guide Hackney!
